Roger first picked up a racquet at age 8 and has loved the game ever since. He played for the Monterey Park Junior Tennis Team and Alhambra High School’s JV and Varsity squads. After college, he competed successfully in USTA 4.5 leagues, team tennis, and local tournaments across LA and Orange County.

When he’s not coaching at Leon Jung Tennis Academy or working at South County Tennis Shop, Roger stays active on court several times a week. A true racquet enthusiast, he’s always up to date on the latest gear and enjoys helping players find the right equipment to elevate their game.
